These are the same show according to drummer Rick Buckler of the Jam. His website confirms that "The Bitterest Pill", "The Night At The Theatre" & "Strange Town" bootlegs all originate from the 'BBC In Concert' broadcast on December 4, 1979 at the Rainbow Theatre, London:http://www.thejamfan.net/live_recordings.htm

In my opinion this is NOT the same release as the Strange Town bootleg this is linked to. It seems to be from the same tour, though.

Hello,i have 100% the same opinion. This is NOT the same release. It is a different one and aother kind of record. Someone just put another Jam Live LP to this which was contributed by me. Also different cover and title, i edited the Mother release and took iz out again. Maybe the original contributor does this with those two CDs also. I think Discogs is a Database for records and their different pressings, not a database for Liveshows officially or unofficially recorded by Bands. If there would be a filter to search by show or date and then get the records listed, but so this is just confusing for everybody.best regards
