My copy is useless, despite nice visible condition. I don't know if it's damaged or badly pressed, but there's a huge bump on it.
Ubranzac
Gorgeous pressing. Really spacious and rich-sounding, so quiet - no surface noise at all. Incredible album, and incredible series too! ????
Morlurne
I bought this 26 years ago, when the show first aired. Back in those days 99% of records were on plain black wax. No stupid surface noise, just deep sounds in the grooves.26 years later it's all fucked up. Now people care more about how records LOOK than how they SOUND. Forget your silly limited edition special colored record, and buy the real McCoy. THE BLACKEST CIRCLES!If all you're looking for in music is a superficial good looking noisy split or splatter coloured record, you should go for the MP3 instead. No noise!
Bukelv
Yes. I just agree. I have been buying records for about 15 years. But because of the reason there are so much bad pressed records I just stopped. I will not spend money anymore for this bad quality. Now only digital and what is most important clean sound. No crackles no pops no noise.
Tyler Is Not Here
Spot on! I left a remark on the "Damn fine cream colored coffee wax" in the 2016 thread. But wouldn't it have been the coolest joke of the century if Death Waltz, had named it "Damn fine coffee colored" - and released a no-nonsense black record?
Thorgahuginn
I bought this original pressing last week and just received it today in the US. There was no way I was going to opt out of this and get the reissue with the new cover and weird coffee colored vinyl. The iconic Twin Peaks cover and font are beautiful and wonderful to display as I play this beauty. I will however get the reissue of FWWM because screw paying someone $200 for a copy on here.
Hono
I do find it odd that theres so many colored vinyl being released. I mean if you want something pretty to look at while you listen, just set up little easel to place your record sleeve on. That's where the visuals should come from. Also, it's weird that the reissue is in this creamy coffee color, any fan of the show knows that Cooper takes his coffee like he takes his vinyl, black as the night!
Samulkis
Just ordered my re issue today. Its available now to pre order on Bleep

I'm hurt bad is missing !! most epic scene so far

On their Facebook page they said August it should be available. Sign up for Mondo's newsletter to get a heads up on the release. Should be awesome!
SkroN
Any news about the repress from death waltz ?
Mr.Savik
Should be out in August, with FWWM out in December.
uspeh
They better not use shitty artwork like the rest of Death Waltz's reissues.
Bandiri
I am working on the layout today as I type !

"2016"...lets see! test pressings are done..it certainly is taking a long time but hopefully worth the wait!
Marg
Wonderful timeless soundtrack, news for the re-releasing on Death Waltz Records??
Original
It's all speculation but if death waltz is working with Lynch and producers of the show, the release will most likely get released when the new series kicks off in 2016. The death waltz release would only help to gain more exposure for the new series. But that is only my theory
Erienan
So psyched that Death Waltz is re-releasing this on vinyl along with Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me! If you're familiar with the label, you know this will finally get the royal heavyweight vinyl treatment. Looks like all those high priced copies on discogs are going to be dropping in value real soon...http://www.factmag.com/2014/02/12/twin-peaks-soundtracks-set-for-vinyl-reissue-on-death-waltz/

Wonderful soundtrack, found this second hand on vinyl in my local record store, fantastic!
Manarius
This is a fantastic soundtrack , from the twin peaks series made by David Lynch & music from Angelo Badalamenti. The track,Laura Palmer's Theme, is sampeled so many times in so many records, Moby - Go,& The Gateway Experience - Twin Freaks, are good examples ! This whole cd is full of sweet , deep & lovely songs that are sticking to you the whole day, once listened to them. To really get some idea what all these fine tracks mean , you must have seen the the whole series, so for those who haven't seen the movie + the series.. do so now !!
