Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim feels sorry for striker Marcus Rashford who made public his intention to leave before speaking to him in person, because the club lost face and were at a disadvantage at the transfer negotiating table.
Rashford has left out of the squad for the second consecutive game in the Carabao Cup quarter-final at Spurs (December 19), partly because he told the press he want a new challenge.
Of course, announcing such a stance would have a negative impact on the high price tag that the club was expecting, as well as being against the game’s etiquette, so he has cut from the squad, unlike Alejandro Garnacho, who return to the team after missing the 2-1 win over Man City.
Ask about Amorim’s feelings, if possible. He would like Rashford to come and talk to him about his future openly first so that a solution that is satisfactory for all parties can be found. But if he chooses this path, it is just a countdown to the breakup.
“If it were me, if the same thing happened, I would speak to my head coach first – but whatever, let’s focus on the Spurs game,” the 39-year-old said at a press conference.
“It’s hard to explain to all of you reporters what to do next. I’m a little sad right now. Let me calm down and then we’ll talk about it.”
For Garnacho, after being Register ufabet left out of the Manchester derby. He looks more motivated, but unfortunately, only midfielder Mason Mount is out of the Tottenham clash with a repeat injury.
“Alejandro trained very well,” Amorim added.
“When I met him, he looked down, which was good. I’m happy with that because even if I could go back and look back. I would have done the same thing. Let’s just say that he’s ready to face Spurs.”
“Mount, his recent injury has left him sitting in the dressing room feeling down, disheartened. So we need to help him.”
The England midfielder has a problem with his leg muscles. And has an appointment with a specialist to determine the extent of the damage and how long he will need to rest.
